Live Your Dream Awards

Formerly the Women’s Opportunity Awards, these awards assist women who provide the primary source of financial support for their families by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills, and employment prospects. The Live Your Dream Awards involves three levels of cash awards. The program begins at the local Soroptimist club-level, where award amounts vary. Local-level award recipients become eligible for region-level awards of either $3,000 or $5,000. Virginia Wagner Award

This award is specific to those states in Midwestern Region: Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. Women residing in these states who are attending college/university in pursuit of a bachelors, masters or doctoral degree are eligible to apply. https://www.simwr.org/virginia-wagner-educational-award

Eligibility

​For each award judging is based on effort toward education, scholarship, extracurricular activities, and financial need. Neither Soroptimists nor family members of Soroptimists may apply. Applications will be directed to Midwestern Region Soroptimist clubs nearest the applicants' geographic locale for judging. Winning applications at the club level advance to the district level for judging; winning applications at the district level advance as high as the region level for judging.
